"I Am The Strongest Man Alive" is a documentary that I worked on independently, as my senior capstone while at Marshall University. It follows local amateur wrestler Casey King, traveling from local venue to venue, creating a fan base as well as a living. This project also delves into and explores the community of local wrestlers, what it takes to enter the ring, and what life is like behind the curtain.
"unwritten" was a product of my time as an intern for Standwatch Academy. We were tasked to travel and produce a 30-40 minute long documentary that would showcase the experience these students had while traveling far from home and learning different entrepreneur skills from business owners. I helped produce/film/audio and edit a rough cut of the documentary, as I was not apart of the final cut.
"Irregular" was my first short film that I made for a class, and it taught me a lot about who I am as a director as well as what it means to direct. Even on a tight deadline and limited crew, I learned a great amount of information just by going through the motions of production.
this work was more centered around "untitled #2" poem by Alexandra Naughton. It uses her word and my visuals in a way to create a world in-between the two.
